I contacted Conti Group for advice regarding a Building Notice and a retrospective compliance issue with an existing front fence. Although I ultimately decided to take a different rectification approach and did not proceed with the approval process, I was very impressed with the time and care Conti took to review my situation before I had even formally engaged them. They clearly explained the possible approval pathway, identified relevant factors that could support the case, including the established streetscape, and were very transparent about their fees, potential additional costs and how they would deal with Council on my behalf. Their advice was practical, balanced and realistic — they explained that there appeared to be a reasonable to good prospect of achieving an approval pathway, while also making it clear that no Council outcome could ever be guaranteed. Most importantly, their communication was consistently professional, responsive and helpful throughout my enquiries.
